I’m Lianne, the person behind The Odd Dodo

I’m 34 years old, have an obsession with knitting and I love to squish yarn! Dyeing yarn with all the different colors is a big outlet for my creativeness. When I dye yarn or knit, I’m in my own little bubble. It’s relaxing and helps me organize my brain. I’m neurodivergent, which for me means I need more downtime in my life. Unexpectedly I’m a very social person, and I truly blossom when we talk about things that we have in common. That’s why I love going to craft fairs, to meet so many like minded people. I just need to take a long nap after that.

It makes me odd, but I’ve accepted it a long time ago. I see it more as a manual for myself.

Because I’m Lianne. Creative, loving, caring, funny and weird. I may not always look you in the eyes when we talk, but let’s just call that a quirk
